Frequently asked questions
Quick answers for dog walking and daycare businesses — and your team.
For businesses
Who is Woof for?
Woof is for UK dog walking and daycare businesses — owners and managers who schedule visits, manage walkers, and work with dog-owning clients. It is not a marketplace for individual dog owners to find random walkers.
How do I get started?
Tap Get started on this site or install Woof from Google Play. Create a manager account, set up your business, and choose a subscription plan. Share your invite code with walkers and clients so they can join your business on Woof.
How much does Woof cost?
Woof offers simple monthly plans based on team size. After you create a manager account, you choose a plan in the app. Email support@woofapp.co.uk if you have questions before you sign up.
How do payments work?
Woof subscription (you): Managers pay a monthly Woof plan to use scheduling, team tools, client booking, and reports. Subscribe in the app after you create your business.
Client walk fees (your customers): After you complete bank setup in Business settings, clients pay by card in Woof when they book a walk or daycare slot. You must finish Connect before clients can book — the app will show them “Bookings unavailable” until setup is done.
Managers assign walks only after the client has paid online. Two separate charges: your Woof subscription (to WoofApp Ltd) and client walk fees (to your business bank account via Stripe Connect).
How do I set up client card payments?
In the manager app, open Business settings and follow Set up bank (Stripe Connect). This is a one-time identity and bank check. When charges are enabled, clients can book and pay in the app. You can subscribe to Woof and invite your team before Connect, but clients cannot book until bank setup is complete.
Do my clients and walkers need the app?
Yes — walkers and clients each install Woof on their phone (Android app or web; web works on iPhone). You invite them with a code from your manager profile. They join your business on Woof — there is not a separate app per business in the store.
Is my data secure?
Woof uses industry-standard authentication and encrypted connections. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.
Using Woof
What are the different roles?
Manager — runs the business (schedule, team, services, reports). Walker — sees assigned walks/daycare and completes visits. Client — books visits and tracks active walks for their dogs.
How do invite codes work?
Your business gets an invite code in the manager app. Share it when someone joins your team or client list — they install Woof, sign up, and enter the code to link to your organisation. Powered by Woof; branded with your business name and colours inside the app.
How do I create an account?
Open Get started on the home page, or go directly to the sign-up screen in the app. After you verify your email, follow the prompts to set up your business or join with an invite code.
I already have an account — where do I log in?
Use the Log in link on this site, or open the Woof app on your phone or at app.woofapp.co.uk.
How do I contact support?
Email support@woofapp.co.uk. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
